Before my guest today, Eden Fried, was podcasting, she was almost exclusively blogging and ended up getting burnt out from the blogging world. She really needed a different medium to share information and educate, and creating a podcast was her way of doing that. It helped to refresh her and keep her engaged in order to reach her audience in a way that is useful for them. Eden is a rebel, she believes that you shouldn’t need to work for someone else in order to pay the bills, so she has dedicated her life to inspiring and teaching other rebel women how to turn their passion into a digital product they can sell, and make a full-time income online. She’s the host of Rebel Boss Ladies Podcast and the founder of Rebel Boss University.

What we share about in this episode:

  • When she started her podcast and what led her there
  • How her episode format varies, but is mostly interview style episodes
  • What she feels is working best with her podcast right now and the workflow she uses to keep it that way
  • Two things she has “failed” at with her podcast, why she doesn’t like to call them failures, and what she has learned from them
  • Where she finds that her listeners are coming from and a few things she does to keep them coming back for more
  • How she converts her listeners into customers
  • Her favorite tool that helps her with her podcast
  • Whether or not she has a favorite podcast to listen to, and why
