Hey savvies! Welcome back to another episode of the podcast. In today’s episode, we’re addressing the question “Is it time to rebrand my podcast?”

If you’ve been podcasting for quite some time, think a year or more – you might start feeling the itch to do some sort of rebrand. Whether that’s something as simple as changing up the brand colors or even changing the name or something as major as a complete and total overhaul of the podcast. It’s definitely not uncommon. 

In today’s episode, we’re addressing how to know if it’s time to rebrand your podcast so let’s dive in. 

It may be time to rebrand your podcast if…

You’re not feeling inspired by the content that you’re creating for your podcast any longer.

I have seen this happen quite a few times with our clients and while sometimes we go through periods where we’re not satisfied or inspired by anything in our business if we find that this lack of inspiration period is going on for longer than a month or two, it may be time to refocus your podcast and revisit your goals to ensure that they are in line with your current podcast method.

You’re making a big pivot in your business and want your podcast to follow suit
While I don’t think that your podcast needs to be a direct replica of your business, I do think they need to be related in some way to get the best results so if you’re completely changing your business, then your podcast will likely need to be changed as well. 

In case you’re newer to the Savvy Podcasting world, this podcast actually used to be called Savvy Social Hour until it was rebranded to Savvy Podcasting for Entrepreneurs in mid-2019. 

The reason for my change is that I pivoted from SMM and VA services to podcast management so I wanted my podcast to be reflective of that.

So those are two reasons it may be time to rebrand your podcast. Smaller changes like changing your podcast’s brand colors don’t really classify as a complete rebrand in my mind but if you’re changing the name and content, then you definitely need to let your listeners know and get them hyped about the changes beforehand.
